The data in the report allow for the monitoring of the health status of the population and to formulate policy decisions, implementing strategies and evaluating health programmes in line with Government priorities and Key Performance Indicators for the Ministry of Health and Wellness. The figures are also used for reporting to various local, regional and international agencies, including the World Health Organization (WHO) and for the monitoring of progress towards the Sustainable Development Goals.<\/p><p>Reports are available in soft copy (PDF format) as from the Health Statistics Report for Year 2013.
